Foveo were selected by the Council's award winning EMBS (Ethnic Minorities Business Service) to provide them with some technical online solutions to help them promote their services and streamline a part of their work.

Brief To design a new website which fits into the Council's branding and which would incorporate a promotional video within the site. EMBS also required to be able to send bulk text messages to their clients primarily to keep them updated regarding events and workshops. It was also required that EMBS would be able to look after the website themselves and to manage their own content.

Services provided

The project involved three distinct areas, each of which needed individual expertise; the website design & built-in web page editing system, the video which needed to be converted for online use and thirdly, providing the most suitable online text messaging system to allow EMBS to bulk text their clients.

Bolton Council's branding and EMBS brochures dictated the colours and feel of the website.
After discussing and finalising designs and website navigation, Foveo built the website and an easy to use webpage editing system which requires no web design skills on the EMBS team.
The video was decoded and compressed to suitable download sizes enabling viewing of an 8 minute video without waiting for the download.

The SMS system enabled EMBS to bulk text groups of clients who belong to the service sectors for whom the text message is intended. This process will save hours of work per organised event.

Thinkers Forum are a small community based group of Professionals who volunteer to make a difference in the community

Foveo sponsored and developed a website for the group in order for them to increase awareness of their projects and to encourage community involvement.

The site has a built-in page editing system which means that the volunteer members can add their own articles without requiring any technical knowledge
